Spontaneous Productions Supporters Club

Give what you can to help this much loved SE London theatre company keep making its magic!
Since 2008 this not-for-profit theatre company has been staging high quality productions at affordable prices for all ages, alongside its programme of scriptwriting workshops for adults.

Committed to creating original new work that celebrates our local community’s diversity, our family shows are hugely popular. Our annual ‘pay what you can’ pantos at St Bart’s Church have become must-see events, as are our outdoor shows for all ages in Home Park every summer. Besides programming for families, we stage regular ‘scratch nights’, showcasing new writing by members of ScriptHub workshops, and we have produced adaptations of classics such as Three Men in a Boat, Animal Farm and Around the World in Eighty Days.

We pride ourselves on knowing that many local children have had their first experience of attending a live theatre show with us. Inspiring the next generation of creatives is our greatest achievement.

As well as regular events, our company provides opportunities to local volunteers, of all ages, to learn new skills, gain experience and make new friends. With the support of many local businesses, private donors and occasional funding from Lewisham Council and others, we have just about been able to navigate the post-pandemic cost-of-living crisis.

Now we are asking you to join our brand new supporters club, and either make a one-off donation or set up a regular subscription. Through our Spontaneous Supporters Club, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you’re helping us stay afloat, and keep making the magic we’re known for.

Volunteer with us

We always need help at our events, with stewarding, box office, backstage support, publicity (distributing leaflets and posters etc) and fundraising. If you have any free time and would like to get involved please go to our volunteer page.
