About the Show

A fun family Christmas show for all ages – featuring all the usual Spontaneous magic!

It’s Christmas Eve, and Clara discovers her Nutcracker toy has mysteriously sprung to life. But when the villainous and ever-hungry Mouse King steals the Nutcracker’s Magic Nut, Clara must find all her courage to help her new friend restore his powers…

The enchanting story of The Nutcracker is brought to magical life by Spontaneous Productions for its 7th annual pantomime and the fourth to be performed in the beautiful setting of St Bart’s Church, Sydenham. Following last year’s sold out production Peter Pan, expect to be highly entertained, with amazing music and dance routines, fabulous costumes, audience participation and lots of Spontaneous-style surprises!

Using Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, and featuring Spontaneous regulars Kate Barry, Marlon-Oliver Harris – both seen in last year’s Peter Pan – plus Angus Hepburn, Jyo Miarkali – last seen in Hansel and Gretel – and newcomer Jojo Rosales, plus with fabulous costumes by Jackie Poulett and amazing songs arranged by Yumi Mashiki, this promises to be our biggest, funniest and most magical family show yet!

The Credits
