Stage and screenwriting workshops. Term 3 starts Wed 12 Sept
A course of 8 fortnightly sessions during Autumn 2017. Suitable for aspiring scriptwriters of all levels of experience. Over 16s only.
The course will be led by facilitator and tutor Jonathan Kaufman, a highly experienced and qualified teacher of English, scriptwriting and creative writing. It explores the techniques of scriptwriting, both for stage and screen, through in-session writing and homework tasks.
Full price: £12 per session (payable upfront @ £96)
Concession price (unwaged, full-time student, retired): £8 per session (payable upfront @ £64)

Term 3: From First Draft to Last
Covers the essentials of writing TV drama, radio drama, as well as editing and rewriting, script polishing, strengthening and developing character, improving dialogue, sharpening storytelling techniques and writing synopses and outlines. Writers will produce a polished piece of stage, radio or screenwriting.
The term will culminate in a rehearsed reading of original scripts to an invited audience.
