For Refugee Week in June, we staged the second of our events sharing the true stories of refugees and migrants in Lewisham. NO PLACE LIKE HOME featured folk singers from Ukraine, poets and singers from Lewisham Refugee & Migrant Network’s women’s group, on one of the hottest – sold out – nights of the summer!

  • Involved some 30+ participants and four professional performers and creatives
  • Was part funded by Lewisham’s NCIL initiative

And what would Christmas be without our annual festive family show? In December we entertained all ages in 12 packed performances, with our super magical FATHER CHRISTMAS AND THE RUNAWAY REINDEER – featuring tangoing elves, a very grumpy Santa, a very brave little girl and a pantomime reindeer!

  • Used classic Christmas songs – with new lyrics – for maximum audience participation
  • An all-star cast of Spontaneous regulars, we assembled one of the best companies in years
  • Audience feedback was some of the most positive ever, with people particularly appreciating the child-focused comedy and themes
