About the Show
Snow White as you’ve never seen her before!
A MUSICAL THEATRE SHOW FOR ALL AGES
When washed-up silent-movie star Scarlett Rose gets to hear of a new singing sensation in town — floor-sweeper Snow White — she soon starts to plot the latter’s downfall… With the help of seven miniature mobsters, can our heroine make it through the night and discover the true meaning of Christmas?
Acclaimed Sydenham-based theatre company Spontaneous Productions is back at St Bart’s Church this December with its 9th spectacular Christmas show since 2017! And as always with Spontaneous Productions, expect a twist!
An imaginative retelling of the classic fairy tale Snow White, the show will whisk you to a windswept and snowy ‘jazz age’ Chicago, where Christmas is prohibited, and the only festive entertainment is to be had at the illicit Goldmine speakeasy…
Featuring classic jazz standards, fabulous dance routines and costumes, slapstick chases and lots of surprises, don’t miss our most spectacular and fun show yet, running for 8 performances only!
Cast includes: jazz cabaret singer and actor DESIRÉE SKYLARK as Snow White. Desirée was last seen as Tinker Bell in Peter Pan and she’s thrilled to be back for this very special festive treat! Also featuring several familiar Spontaneous faces: KATE BARRY, MARLON-OLIVER HARRIS and PAUL-D STEPHENSON, all of whom appeared in last year’s Christmas show Father Christmas and the Runaway Reindeer!
