MAKE A SCENE YOUNG WRITERS’ SHOWCASE: FOUR PLAY – from Friday 13 November 2026

MAKE A SCENE YOUNG WRITERS’ SHOWCASE: FOUR PLAY – from Friday 13 November 2026

About the Show

Showcasing 4 emerging playwrights in SE London across four evenings

Following its first Make a Scene showcase in July – which staged 12 short scripts by young playwrights – Spontaneous Productions is delighted to present FOUR PLAY, developing four of these pieces in a longer format.

Over four evenings, a professional cast will stage the selected writers’ work, with dynamic script-in-hand performances offering audiences a first glimpse of exciting new theatrical voices. Funded by Arts Council England.

Funny, provocative, surprising and thought-provoking, IRL explores life in the 21st century through a rich mix of styles, stories and perspectives. From sharp comedy to compelling drama, these fresh new scripts capture the complexities, contradictions and connections of the world we live in. Join us for four entertaining evenings celebrating the next generation of playwrights.
